Aaron Diamond (Team Captain)

Executive Summary

Aaron Diamond is the founder of Diamond Custom Homes.  From a young age he was immersed in Ontario building culture.  While attending high school, he worked summers on a variety of low-rise residential construction subdivisions in varying capacities.  After graduating from the University of Toronto with degrees in criminology and political science, he decided to switch focus and pursue a career in land development & construction.  For the next 12 years he worked closely with esteemed builder Wycliffe Homes and quickly moved up the chain of command.  Starting as a laborer, then progressing to finishing supervisor, rough supervisor, customer service rep, PDI leader, after sales service liaison, permits coordinator, and décor center designer.  After working in the field for seven years he transitioned into the companies’ head office where he helped with land acquisition, marketing, development and finally settling into his role as contracts administrator for his last 4 years with the company.

While working for Wycliffe Homes, in 2011 Aaron decided to incorporate his own company with the dream of one day branching off. Initially providing renovation services, the company switched focus to New Construction.  Given Aaron’s obsession for perfection this seemed like the natural progression, providing him the opportunity to accurately manage project designs, budgets, scheduling, building and after sales service.

Today Aaron selectively chooses projects and clients he feels are a good match.  Many builders will take any project, often overextending resources and underperforming.  The philosophy at Diamond Custom Homes is very different.  Aaron only works with clients he feels comfortable with and only undertakes projects that are a suitable match for his expertise as a builder.  The result is homes that are built on schedule and on budget while exceeding building code standards and client expectations.  This recipe for success allows clients to receive the finished product they deserve and are proud to call home.
